    Sue Anne Khoo obtained her Master of Clinical Psychology postgraduate degree with the University of Queensland.She is a registered psychologist and clinical supervisor with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency and Singapore Psychological Society. She has specialist qualification in Clinical Psychology and has been a practicing psychologist since 1995 where she mainly worked in public service within the public hospitals in Singapore.

    Sue Anne had last worked as a Principal Clinical Psychologist in Khoo Teck Puat Hospital in Singapore, working mainly with adult and geriatric populations in various life stages and transitions as well as providing supervision and consultation within a multi-disciplinary team environment.She recently relocated to Brisbane with her family including three growing teenagers and therefore is keenly aware of multi-cultural sensitivities and the challenges of family life as well as transitioning and adjustment issues living in a new country.

    Sue Anne has special interests in mood, anxiety, obsessive compulsive and post-traumatic stress disorders. Moreover, she has considerable experience with neurocognitive disorders, having been part of a multidisciplinary memory team caring for persons living with cognitive impairment and dementia. She had also completed a training fellowship in the Specialty of Aged Mental Health conducted by St Vincent’s Mental Health and the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Melbourne.

    Sue Anne uses a range of evidence-based and best-practice therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Schema and Emotion-Focused Therapy and Mindful Self-Compassion approaches. She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and has integrated EMDR clinical innovations into her clinical practice with good clinical outcomes.

    Sue Anne was also an Adjunct Associate Professor with National University of Singapore

    over many years, and is dedicated to coaching new psychologists in the field of clinical psychology. She is active in mental health education and has provided numerous lectures and training workshops to health-care professionals, corporate clients, and the public at large. Her contributions to teaching and mentoring fellow professionals have earned her teaching awards and most recently, the National Healthcare Group (Singapore) Teaching Award for Allied Health Senior Educators 2022.
