    Miranda Mullins – Accepting New Clients

    Miranda is a registered psychologist and has been practising clinical psychology since 1996 in a range of public and private settings. She has been working in private practice at Psychology Consultants since 2000.

    Miranda has broad clinical experience working with individuals, couples, children and families. She enjoys working with people experiencing adjustment disorders when undergoing life transitions, using cognitive-behavioural therapy and other evidence-based approaches. She has particular experience in treating depression and anxiety disorders, and special interest in phobias, social anxiety, generalised anxiety and postnatal depression. She enjoys assisting people to manage relationship, family and health issues and has a worked extensively with young adults.

    With a background working with the Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) Clinic, Miranda has specialist experience working with children, adolescents, and their parents to treat and prevent emotional and behavioural problems. She has a particular interest in childhood anxiety and is a facilitator of the well-known group program, FRIENDS, which is run at the practice.

    Miranda has held the position of Clinical Consultant at both the Behaviour Research and Therapy Centre and the Parenting and Family support centre at The University of Queensland, supervising psychology interns completing postgraduate clinical training in these settings.
