Seton is a registered psychologist with experience working with a wide range of mental health presentations in people of all ages. His overall focus is on improving individual’s well-being and their understanding of the interconnectivity of their mind, brain and behaviour. His areas of interest include posttraumatic stress, anxiety, depression, OCD and eating disorders.
Seton incorporates aspects of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Psychodynamic psychotherapy into his practice, as well as mindfulness techniques and holistic approaches to formulation. An approachable and understanding clinician, Seton always makes time to hear and consider others’ needs, maintaining a strong belief in client advocacy, autonomy, and an always person-centred approach to therapy. Thus empowering his clients while exploring their concerns and developing their goals.
