As a Clinical Psychologist Kylie has experience in working with children, adolescents, adults, older adults, couples and families across a variety of clinical settings. Kylie also has experience facilitating a variety of group therapy programs.
Kylie has worked with clients experiencing a range of presenting problems including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, childhood and adult trauma, dementia (including assisting families with the behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia), substance abuse, eating disorders, child behaviour management issues, anger management and emotion regulation, self-esteem difficulties, communication skills deficits, occupational stress, relationship problems, and developmental and learning disorders.
Kylie uses a variety of evidence-based and best practice therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy and Mindfulness to best meet the needs of her clients and their families.
As a part of her Master of Clinical Psychology degree, Kylie conducted research that explored the ways in which individuals give and receive love within a couple relationship and the impact that this has upon satisfaction with the relationship.
